Change has arrived!

We have had glorious weather the last few days. On Tuesday I saw the most amazing thing at sunset, this cloud was all lit up from the sun.

Isn’t that gorgeous?

On Wednesday afternoon we got the rain those clouds promised. I still find nature hard to read a bit like learning to read I guess. At first nothing makes sense but with persistence and practice, the words start leaping off the page.

The cold change came through on Saturday, so last week was truely the last hurrah of Summer. Im grateful for the cooler summer we had and am curious to see just how cold winter will be this year. Winter last year was actually quite warm (temps hovered around 15 degrees C which was quite warm for us). As we descend into winter I am starting to feel the need to withdraw. The more I follow the seasonal cycles and incorporate them into my life, the more I starting to find myself. The more I let go of society’s expectations and instead look to mother nature, the more I am finding peace within myself.
